Support built around a predictable routine and the person’s own way of communicating — personal care, prompting, appointments, and the skills that make more independence realistic.
From a few hours a week to full 24-hour packages — and most people need more than one at once.
Support built around a predictable routine and the person’s own way of communicating — personal care, prompting, appointments, and the skills that make more independence realistic.
We start from what the behaviour is communicating, not from restriction. Plans are agreed with the people who know the person best, applied the same way by every worker, and checked against the daily records.
Practical, non-clinical support that holds the week together — getting up and out, eating and sleeping, medication prompting, and company on the hard days. Workers know the warning signs and the agreed escalation route.
The part that usually gets cut first, and shouldn’t. We plan and risk-assess outings, sport, groups, college and work placements so the answer can be yes — including travel training.
Whatever the specialism, these come as standard.
Washing, dressing, continence and mobility.
Prompted or administered, recorded every shift.
Shopping and cooking together, dietary guidance followed.
Cleaning and laundry done with the person, not around them.
Notes you can read, and what needs following up.
Environment checks and clear incident reporting.
Regular workers, plus a team lead you can call by name.
Scheduled with you and the funder, changed as needs move.
Tell us the pattern you actually need, not the one you think is available.
From one hour upwards, once a week or several times a day.
Ongoing support in the person’s own tenancy.
Where night-time needs are real, not assumed.
Planned blocks that give family carers a genuine rest.
Where two workers are needed, we staff two.
Same named team, at the agreed rate.
No single hourly rate — a 2:1 waking night and a weekday community hour aren’t the same thing. You get a written quote after the assessment.
The council has agreed the funding; we invoice them directly.
Funding goes to the person or family, who contract with us.
Health needs fund part or all of the package.
Written quote, reviewed annually.
One hour in principle — but short visits far from our other packages are hard to staff consistently, and we would rather say so up front.
Yes, and it usually does. Hours and approaches get adjusted at review or sooner, agreed in writing.
Yes, where the assessment says two workers are needed. We won’t take a 2:1 package and quietly run it as 1:1.
Cover comes from the named team, planned in advance. Out-of-hours calls reach an on-call manager, not an answering service.
Describe the week you are trying to make work, and we will tell you whether we can staff it.
